As a Sr. Mechanical Component Engineer, you will support the development of next‑generation networking technologies for mobile ad‑hoc wireless communications systems. We seek engineers interested in mechanical part research, selection, sourcing, and documentation.

• Research, select, and document mechanical parts such as machined parts & assemblies, cases, computer racks, electronic chassis, gaskets, motors, gears, fans, environmental control units, test equipment, tools, trailers, etc.
• Work with CAD tools to create drawings and figures.
• Manage large quantities of diverse types of mechanical parts and assemblies within a PLM tool.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology and minimum 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum 10 years of prior related experience.
• Self‑motivated and willing to work within company‑defined processes.
• Good written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with mechanical CAD tools (experience with NX is a plus).
• Familiarity with reading and creating mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Familiarity with tolerances and manufacturing terminology and processes.
• Ability to obtain security clearance (U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal background).
• Ability to travel 10%.

• Familiarity with Teamcenter PLM tool.
• Experience with NX CAD tool.
• Component Engineering experience.
