The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge in building façade systems ranging from curtain wall and architectural panels to roofing systems.

• Perform engineering assignments with specified objectives related to the architectural cladding industry
• Engage in analysis and computations necessary to execute assignments
• Provide internal structural reviews of shop drawings against project specifications and give feedback
• Prepare submission copies of window/curtain wall calculations for professional engineer’s stamp
• Evaluate system mock‑ups for structural behavior against performance requirements
• Maintain clear understanding of the International Building Code and ASCE 7 as they relate to structural requirements
• Conduct site visits and evaluate actual system structural performance as required
• May supervise or coordinate the work of other technical support personnel

• B.S. degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent work experience (minimum 5 years)
• Active US Professional Engineer license in at least one State, with ability to obtain comity in additional states
• Structural Engineering license (plus)
• Proficiency with structural analysis tools (RISA, STAAD, SAP
  2000, RAM, ETABS) and Bluebeam
• Proficient with computer-aided software such as MS Office and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of load calculations, building envelope science, cladding, and curtain wall systems
• Knowledge and use of structural programs (e.g., SAP
  2000)
• Understanding of North American codes and standards related to the architectural cladding industry (IBC, ASCE 7, ADM, AISC, AISI S100)
