Automation Technician - Manufacturing

This position is responsible for the output, operation, and maintenance of automation equipment and machinery.

• Install and configure electrical and electronic systems according to project specifications.
• Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) to validate the functionality of machinery and equipment against design requirements.
• Upgrade electrical and electronic systems to enhance performance and incorporate new features.
• Support the engineering team in designing electrical and electronic equipment that meets customer needs.
• Analyze system performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Diagnose complex system malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for system assembly and operation.
• Ensure consistent quality performance of electrical systems through regular maintenance, calibration, and testing to meet operational standards.
• Inspect electrical systems to ensure quality control and adherence to safety regulations.
• Train machine operators on the proper use of electrical and electronic systems and develop maintenance standards to ensure long‑term system reliability.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Control, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on equipment and automated machinery.
• Experience handling, operating, and troubleshooting Pick and Place, Dispensing, and Screwing equipment.
• Understanding and programming of Vision Control systems.
• Experience with robotic arms used for welding, material handling, and assembly.
