Machinery and Automation TechnicianThis position is responsible for the output, operation, and maintenance of automation equipment and machinery.
Duties and Responsibilities- Install and configure electrical and electronic systems according to project specifications.
- Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) to validate the functionality of machinery and equipment against design requirements.
- Upgrade electrical and electronic systems to enhance performance and incorporate new features.
- Support the engineering team in designing electrical and electronic equipment that meets customer needs.
- Analyze system performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Diagnose complex system malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for system assembly and operation.
- Ensure consistent quality performance of electrical systems through regular maintenance, calibration, and testing to meet operational standards.
- Inspect electrical systems to ensure quality control and adherence to safety regulations.
- Train machine operators on the proper use of electrical and electronic systems and develop maintenance standards to ensure long‑term system reliability.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Control, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on equipment and automated machinery.
- Experience handling, operating, and troubleshooting Pick and Place, Dispensing, and Screwing equipment.
- Understanding and programming of Vision Control systems.
- Experience with robotic arms used for welding, material handling, and assembly.
