Associate, Test Systems Engineer (Salt Lake City, UT)

The System Engineer – Test position owns the test process, including concept, design, root cause analysis, and corrective action. This Engineer will become a subject matter expert via collaboration with Design and Systems Engineering, then apply that knowledge to create and refine test processes implemented by Testers and Technicians in Operations. Whenever issues arise, this Engineer is dedicated to determining why the issue occurs and implementing corrective action to prevent future, similar failures.

• Clearance if desired, ability to travel, working extended hours
• Define, trace and maintain test process requirements
• Test procedure creation and maintenance
• Improve test yield through root cause and corrective action
• Create product‑related technical information in support of Operations
• Ensure overall technical performance for Test Engineering developments
• Work with Engineering to facilitate the transition of products from design to production
• Provide input to Engineering to support product life‑cycle management
• Project manage Test Engineering development
• Mentor Engineers with less experience
• Provide input to organizational vision
• Provide technical test consultation to internal organizations, contract manufacturers or customers
• Represent Test Engineering in technical discussions to outside organizations
• Evaluate contract manufacturers’ capabilities to provide required products or services
• Participate in product design reviews
• Support manufacturing floor to help overcome production issues

• Engineering Bachelor’s Degree
• Ability to obtain Clearance

• Soft skills (e.g., Proficient in MS Office, Strong communication…)
