AboutThe Role
We’re seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to build and grow Wand’s branded social media presence across platforms. This role sits within our Growth team and will work closely with Growth (Product Marketing, Brand, Influencer Marketing) and Product teams to create engaging content that drives community growth, brand awareness, and positions Wand as the ultimate gaming companion.
You’ll own the full content lifecycle for our branded channels—from ideation and content creation to publishing and performance analysis. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be both strategist and creator, developing a distinct social voice that resonates with PC gamers while showcasing the breadth of Wand’s capabilities beyond game assists. You should be someone who genuinely lives in gaming culture—the person who already follows gaming memes, participates in gaming communities, and has opinions about the latest gaming discourse.
WhatYou’ll Do Content Strategy & Creation
- Lead Wand’s social media presence across Instagram, Tik Tok, X (Twitter), and You Tube—shaping how hundreds of thousands of gamers discover and engage with our platform through bold, creative content strategies
- Manage relationships with video production team or agencies to produce long/short form video content, providing creative briefs, feedback, and quality oversight
- Create original content including short‑form videos, graphics, memes, and written posts that resonate with gaming audiences while leveraging gameplay footage, creator partnerships, and community content
- Ideate and produce creative content series that highlight Wand’s features (interactive maps, game assists, video clipping, contextual guidance) in engaging, authentic ways
- Stay ahead of gaming trends, news, memes, and cultural moments to create timely, relevant content with sharp instinct for what will resonate
- Balance product education with entertainment and community‑building content
- Collaborate with video production team on You Tube content strategy, providing creative direction and optimizing for community growth as well as translating long‑form video content into social‑first clips and promotional content
- Partner with Product Managers to identify shareable product moments and turn features into community conversation starters
- Work with Brand team to ensure content aligns with Wand’s positioning as a comprehensive gaming platform
- Collaborate with Influencer Marketing to maximize reach of creator partnerships through strategic social amplification and repurpose creator content
- Coordinate with Design team on visual assets and maintain brand consistency
- Support Performance Marketing with social‑first creative concepts for paid campaigns
- Build and nurture Wand’s social media community through authentic engagement and conversation
- Monitor comments, DMs, and mentions to foster positive community interactions
