Overview
Seasonal Tax-Financial Services Organization - GCR Tax Accounting and Risk Advisory - BCM Manager s is a seasonal position focused on tax accounting and risk advisory within the National Tax Department (NTD) and TARAS practice.
Responsibilities- Provide tax guidance and consulting related to tax accounting and planning (internal restructurings, acquisitions, dispositions, carve-out financial statements, GAAP conversions from US GAAP to IFRS or IFRS to US GAAP, share-based compensation, financial statement restatements and balance sheet remediation of tax accounts).
- Assist companies with all aspects of the preparation of the tax provision.
- Review the tax provision process to improve efficiency and accuracy; enhance the control environment and assess tax risk and control environments inclusive of and beyond Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, with significant tax or legal experience; MST, MAcc, or JD/LLM preferred.
- Valid US CPA license or active state bar membership.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in professional services, tax organization, law firm, or IRS.
- Broad understanding and experience with federal income taxation.
- Strong analytical, written and verbal communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Strong ASC 740 and/or IAS 12 experience; experience in corporate tax planning and compliance; broad exposure to federal income taxation.
Candidates with solid tax and tax accounting knowledge, ability to work with and motivate others, and skills to manage large engagements and build meaningful client and colleague relationships.
What We Offer You- Salary range in the US: $90/hr to $120/hr, with compensation determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. Total Rewards include medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k), and various paid time off options.
