Key Responsibilities- Analyze an evolving portfolio of complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights.
- Identify potential opportunities and risks and communicate these to clients.
- Research current market trends to maintain your credibility as a trusted advisor.
- Develop clear, intelligent plans and approaches to improve clients’ tax activities.
- Research clients’ business operations and build long‑lasting relationships tailored to their needs.
- Work with a motivated team of professionals.
- Build effective long‑term relationships with clients.
- Maintain a strong reputation in your field by constantly updating and sharing technical and best‑practice knowledge.
- Progress towards CPA or Enrolled Agent license.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in professional services or a professional tax organization.
- Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills, and confidence to challenge senior colleagues and stakeholders.
- A commitment to continuing learning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline, or a graduate degree in Tax or Law.
- Understanding of automated tax processing systems and related laws.
- Understanding of state and local partnership tax.
- Proficiency in Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Return Preparation Software.
- Experience working in a variety of teams.
- Ability to adapt work style to work with both internal and client team members.
- Comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time‑off options. Base salary range for this role in the United States: $81,900 to $135,100. Geographic variations apply.
- Hybrid work model: most external, client‑serving roles are expected to be in‑person 40–60% of the time.
