ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an analytical, early-career financial and operational leader who loves making numbers meaningful and using AI to build a highly efficient modern finance function. This role blends FP&A, operations, and real-time decision support. You will create visibility, tighten discipline, and ensure leadership has the right information at the right moment.

You’ll act as the financial and operational “glue” of the organization by tracking performance daily, identifying issues early, supporting capital allocation, and turning operational data into clear financial insights.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build AI-friendly models and reporting templates
• Keep forecasts aligned with real-time performance
• Use AI tools for budgeting, scenarios, vendor analysis, and cash planning

Cash, Spend & Capital Control

• Manage daily/weekly cash visibility and working capital
• Implement effective spend controls and approval workflows
• Support leadership in capital allocation analysis

Reporting & Decision Support

• Deliver weekly/monthly/quarterly financial insights
• Identify risks early and recommend corrective actions
• Communicate financial information clearly to non-finance teams

Operational Finance

• Oversee AP/AR, vendors, payroll coordination, subscriptions, and spending analysis
• Partner with Product, Operations, Marketing, and Supply Chain on unit economics, margins, pricing, and vendor decisions

Strategic Finance & Fundraising

• Support investor materials, metrics, dashboards, and data room preparation
• Assist with scenario planning for fundraising and partnerships

Process Optimization

• Build scalable, repeatable finance systems
• Use AI to automate manual work and drive efficiency

IDEAL EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Required

• 2–6 years in FP&A, strategic finance, consulting, or operations finance
• Strong modeling and analytical skills
• Comfortable using AI tools
• Strong operational instincts and communication skills
• High ownership and comfort in a fast-paced environment

Nice-to-Have

• CPA
• Experience in tech, consumer products, health/wellness, or hardware
• Familiarity with SaaS metrics, subscription models, or hardware economics
• Exposure to investor reporting or supply chain analysis
• Experience with Quick Books, Net Suite, or AI-enhanced finance tools
