Position Summary
Utah First Credit Union is seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Lending Officer to join their executive management team. This key leadership position will oversee residential, commercial, and consumer lending activities at the credit union. Reporting directly to the President/CEO, the Chief Lending Officer will be responsible for driving Utah First’s unique lending culture while achieving both loan production and credit quality objectives.
The role encompasses responsibility for loan production, growth, and origination, as well as product development, pricing strategies, loan underwriting, portfolio management, secondary market sales, and asset quality. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance, and ten to fifteen years of leadership experience in the financial services industry.
Utah First Credit Union began in 1935 during the Great Depression. A group of German immigrants formed a grassroots credit union that would serve all members of the community.
