About

The Role

• Work on‑site from a Turbo Tax location, serving both in‑person and virtual clients.

• Provide full‑service tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and support for Turbo Tax products.

• Handle simple W‑2 filings, navigate life events (marriage, children, elder care), and assist with more complex scenarios such as business income, amendments, or investments.

• Act as the local face of Turbo Tax, building relationships with prospects, nurturing leads, and converting them into long‑term clients.

• Engage the community through local events and marketing initiatives to develop customer loyalty.

• Your success will be supported by a playbook, tools, and dedicated assistance from the Turbo Tax team.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for Turbo Tax clients, handling simple to complex situations (personal, business, deductions, amendments).
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and advise future tax planning.

  • Build relationships by demonstrating sensitivity to customers’ financial concerns and turning one‑time transactions into long‑term partnerships.
  • Deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience—interact with customers in person and via video communication tools, addressing inquiries and overcoming tax challenges.
Who You Are

  • Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law.
  • Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 returns per season using professional tax software.
  • Familiarity with Circular 230.
  • Willing and available to work a static weekly schedule of at least 24 hours per week at a Turbo Tax location.
  • Interest in building a local and online presence as a Turbo Tax expert, creating accessible tax‑related content in compliance with Intuit policies.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
  • Experience providing holistic tax advisory services beyond filing.
