HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT

The Financial Project Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the financial health and profitability of Stadler's Division North America rolling stock projects. This position supports project managers and the finance team by providing accurate reporting, forecasting, and analysis to maintain budget compliance and optimize project performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monthly Reporting:
    Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports for rolling stock projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Budget

    Collaboration:

    Work closely with project managers to monitor and maintain project budgets, identifying variances and corrective actions.
  • Scenario Planning:
    Conduct financial scenario analyses to support project planning and contingency strategies.
  • Payment Plan Management:
    Create and manage payment schedules for projects, ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
  • Project Cash Flow:
    Manage project-level cash flow plans, ensuring liquidity and alignment with company objectives.
  • Bonding Management:
    Oversee bonding requirements for projects, including performance bonds and payment bonds.
  • Risk & Opportunity Assessment:
    Identify financial risks and opportunities at the project level.
  • Profitability Focus:
    Drive initiatives to maximize project profitability through proactive financial management and strategic insights.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in financial analysis, project controlling, or similar roles (preferably in manufacturing or project-based industries).
  • Strong understanding of financial forecasting.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience in BI applications, such as Power BI is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
