EY’s Financial Services Organization (FSO) is dedicated to serving the financial services marketplace. You’ll join our team at a pivotal time, leveraging your experience to support clients with partnership tax compliance and review. You will be responsible for preparing and providing first/second‑level reviews of tax returns for partnerships, collaborating closely with team members and stakeholders.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Prioritize multiple complex projects with a strategic perspective
- Apply influencing skills to question and improve existing processes
- Review K-1 extraction data, footnotes, and federal & state partnership tax returns
- Understand taxable income allocations
- Manage corporate tax extension requests for corporate returns
- Produce technical writing and research in a tax context
- Work effectively in a virtual, remote team environment
To this role you must have:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field
- At least 5 years of relevant investment or operating partnership tax compliance experience
- A proven record of excellence in a professional services or tax organization
- Knowledge of partnership tax technical and transactional skills
Ideally, you also have:
- Experience in public accounting at a top or mid‑tier firm
- Experience with hedge funds or private equity funds (preferred)
- Hourly rate of $90–$120 per hour, with salaries determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography
