The Sorenson Impact Institute’s Impact Investing team is seeking an Associate to join their Salt Lake City-based impact investing and student training program. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of investment management and education, combining professional investment responsibilities with meaningful mentorship of the next generation of finance professionals. The Associate will be joining a dynamic team that invests in high‑impact entrepreneurs while simultaneously training aspiring finance and impact investing professionals.

This position requires someone who is both a leader and a teacher, with a strong commitment to social innovation and measurable impact. The Associate will manage multiple facets of the investment process, from sourcing new opportunities through execution and ongoing management, while maintaining a core focus on developing student talent.

The role demands hands‑on involvement in due diligence processes, preparation of investment materials, and investment operations management. • Mentor and train rotating cohorts of student interns, equipping them with hands‑on experience in venture capital and impact investing through underwriting and full‑cycle due diligence for early‑stage deals ranging from pre‑seed to Series A
