Job Overview

We currently have an opening for a part-time Radiology Technologist to join our Salt Lake City, UT team. Radiologic Technologists / X Ray Technologist are medical personnel who perform imaging procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of patients in a professional manner. In addition, assumes departmental duties as needed.

Schedule: Part-time (in-person)

Holidays: 9 observed holidays per year

Position is eligible for relocation reimbursement expenses

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for accurately positioning patients and ensuring that a quality radiographic image is produced.
  • Works closely with radiologists and physicians who interpret images to either diagnose or rule out disease or injury.
  • Responsible for communication and documentation of patient images.
  • Maintain communication with patients, parents, and medical personnel.
  • Maintains on-going plan for personal growth and self-development.
  • Demonstrates professional role requirements related to communication with peers and supervisor and flexibility during unexpected work related events.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Associate in Radiologic Technology
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

Preferred

  • 1 year experience in pediatric/orthopedic radiology
