Clinical Research Coordinators (Non-R.N.)
Job Summary:
This patient‑sensitive position requires full vaccination or an approved exemption. The Coordinator will plan, execute, and monitor clinical trial activities while ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), study protocols, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include coordinating study visits, managing source documents, reporting adverse events, recruiting and consenting participants, and maintaining accurate clinical data. The Coordinator works under the direction of the Primary Investigator (PI) and serves as a liaison among study participants, families, and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate day‑to‑day clinical trial activities in accordance with GCP standards, study protocols, and regulations.
- Implement processes to achieve study objectives and coordinate research procedures, visits, and follow‑up care.
- Create and maintain tools for tracking study metrics and provide updates to management.
- Conduct pre‑study, site qualification, study initiation, monitoring visits, and close‑out activities.
- Maintain source documents and report adverse events.
- Recruit, screen, enroll, and obtain consent from study participants.
- Collect and maintain patient and laboratory data.
- Work directly with participants and families and serve as a project liaison to other departments, outside organizations, and government agencies.
- Execute responsibilities independently with advanced judgment and expertise.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalency) plus 8 years of directly related experience, or Master’s degree (or equivalency) plus 6 years of directly related experience.
- Equivalency statement: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience.
