To Be Determined with the availability of 8:00 am 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. Typically, four 10- hour shifts per week. Evening and weekend work may be required depending on position requirements.
Supervisory
Responsibilities:

The successful candidate:
- Provides compassionate and person-centered care, including observation skills, evaluations, assessments, interventions, and outcomes for specific populations. Ability to apply evidence-based practice within therapy sessions.
- Develops care plans using a variety of iintervention strategies and techniques in a variety of environments.
- Motivates and empowers individuals during sessions to function optimally.
- Consults and practices with other healthcare professionals.
- Keeps abreast of advancements and evidence-based practice in occupational therapy.
- Focuses on person-centered goals which includes family, caregivers, and/or partners in intervention plan as appropriate
- Reviews individual progress and modifies and/or adapts the intervention accordingly following OT guidelines and frameworks.
- Performs administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls.
- Coordinates with interdisciplinary team on individual needs, interventions, modifications, and progress.

Minimum Requirements:
EDUCATION:
- Masters or Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) Degree from an Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) accredited school with National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification
EXPERIENCE:
- Two (2) years of experience in an outpatient or community-based practice setting with following experience/interests
- Persistent/chronic pain
- Working with underserved and tribal populations in an interdisciplinary setting
- Well-rounded clinical skills with ability to handle all ages and a full range of diagnoses
- Experience/familiarity with pain neuroscience education (PNE)
- Experience working with the Native American community
CERTIFICATION/
LICENSE:
- Occupational Therapist Registered/Licensed (OTR/L)

- Mental and behavioral health job experience or background
- Interdisciplinary team experience
- Experience with pain, cognitive, visual, sensory assessments and intervention skills
- Experience working with the Native American community.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Knowledge and experiences related to leading and development of group Interventions, motivational interviewing, ACT, CBT, and willingness to engage in evaluation and treatment in a primary care setting.
- Knowledge of biopsychosocial approaches to care.
- Knowledge and use of evidence-based interventions in the treatment of relevant diagnoses.
- Knowledge of or familiarity with sensory integration and processing interventions
- Ability to organize and lead group Therapy sessions.
- Awareness of interactive reasoning strategies and ability to build strong therapeutic rapport with people
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills and able collaborate effectively in an integrated rehabilitation/medical environment
- Strong documentation and scheduling skills.
- Ability to be dependable.
