• Assist the pharmacist in patient care tasks.
• Effectively manage supplies within the department.
• Problem‑solve operational issues within the department.

• Perform essential functions of the position as described.
• Provide care appropriate to the population served.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Follow department policies and procedures; may not act outside these without pharmacist authorization.
• Adjust work routines to prioritize patient care.
• Screen medication orders for errors, contraindications, and non‑formulary requests.
• Maintain automated pharmacy systems (operation and maintenance).
• Stand for extended periods and handle heavy/small supplies.
• Perform mathematical calculations for compounding and dose preparation.

• Current Pharmacy Technician licensure in the State of Utah.

* Additional license requirements as determined by the hiring department.

• Light work that may involve lifting up to 20 lbs; possible lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving objects.
• Standing for extended periods; no exposure to adverse environmental conditions.

• Carrying, listening, manual dexterity, reaching, sitting, speaking, standing, stooping, crouching, walking.
