Physical Therapist / Wheelchair Specialist I - Per Diem

- Examine patients, including history and systems review, and administer specific tests to obtain clinical data.
- Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans based on evidence‑based practice.
- Fabricate orthotic devices as indicated by treatment plans.
- Use language appropriate to patient/family understanding and provide exercises/activities, splints, and equipment instructions.
- Record clinical activity promptly and HIPAA‑compliant.
- Participate in program development and departmental responsibilities, adhering to deadlines.
- Maintain current knowledge of changes related to scope of practice, coding/billing, and documentation.
- Education and licensure to practice physical therapy in the state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- 1 year experience in physical therapy.
- Experience in PT or OT practice.
- AOTA fieldwork educator certificate, APTA credentialed clinical instructor, or ASHA clinical fellowship mentor.
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities working with children at various levels of care.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with sensitivity to developmental and cultural diversity.
- Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) credential.
