Work Schedule

Summary:

APCs in the vein‑care program work a full‑time outpatient schedule consisting primarily of weekday clinic hours. Typical schedules include 8–10 hour shifts, averaging 4–5 days per week (approximately 40 hours/week). Time is divided between new patient evaluations, return visits, procedural consents, post‑procedure follow‑ups, and dedicated procedural sessions as competence and interest allow. Occasional schedule adjustments may occur based on clinic needs, patient volume, or procedural availability, but no inpatient, night, or 24‑hour shifts are required.
