Position Summary:

The Electronics Technician II is responsible for performing intermediate-level testing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of a variety of electronic equipment and components. This position requires strong small hand dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work with precision tools on small parts and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair electronic assemblies, devices, and components to the board or component level.
• Perform precision soldering, rework, and component replacement under magnification.
• Conduct functional and performance testing using standard electronic test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.).
• Inspect and identify defects or performance issues in circuit boards and assemblies.
• Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Document all repairs, test results, and parts used in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workbench and ensure compliance with ESD and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification in electronics or related field preferred.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in electronics repair, maintenance, or assembly.
• Strong manual dexterity and experience working with small components or precision instruments.
• Proficient in using electronic testing tools and soldering/rework equipment.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions, schematics, and service documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and quality focus.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience repairing or troubleshooting devices such as circuit boards, computers, cell phones, medical or laboratory equipment, or similar electronics.
