Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Analyst to support our contract and compliance operations. This role combines application of attorney guidance, data analysis, and system proficiency to ensure our organization’s publication and data-sharing practices align with contract terms and national and international laws.
Responsibilities JIRA Management- Identify and document metadata-related issues using the JIRA system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and close tickets efficiently.
- Efficiently review large volumes of attorney interpretations of both current and legacy contracts.
- Determine, based on attorney guidance, whether data sharing with third parties is permitted and under what conditions.
- Apply legal interpretations to real-world scenarios to assess compliance and potential risk.
- Analyze statutory guidance provided by attorneys and apply it to large datasets.
- Ensure that the publication of family history records complies with relevant national and international laws.
- Evaluate factual data against legal standards to confirm compliance across jurisdictions.
- Quickly learn and navigate multiple internal systems.
- Use Excel for data analysis, tracking, and reporting on very large datasets.
- Apply AI tools to improve the speed and accuracy of contract and compliance-related tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in areas such as data governance, compliance, or business analytics.
- Proficient in managing and analyzing large datasets, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills and the ability to quickly identify and resolve data issues.
- Understanding of legal concepts related to contracts, data sharing, and publication rights, with the ability to interpret and apply attorney guidance to real-world scenarios.
- Familiar with family history records, including the various types and their typical content, enabling accurate interpretation and application in compliance reviews.
- Experience using JIRA or similar issue-tracking systems.
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple internal systems and emerging technologies, including AI tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for research and analysis to uncover meaningful insights from data.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, focused, and committed to delivering high-quality work on time.
