Technical Writer

As a Technical Writer you will get information requests and questionnaires from our customers regarding our security product suite. You will collaborate all across our global organization to find the information that you need to provide compelling customer responses that will enable them to maximize their use of our security product suite. Ivanti’s Information Security is a global team of experienced professionals dedicated to ensuring the security of Ivanti’s products, corporate and production networks, environments, and of course, its data.

• Respond to customer requests for information and create responses to help the customer understand our security products
• Write engaging content that provides clear technical explanations in a human voice
• Work to always improve our existing content library to ensure it is both up to date and of the quality expected of Ivanti content
• Develop, review, and maintain internal policies and procedures, especially those relating to information security and compliance
• Support and collaborate with our external security vendor by ensuring all required documentation is current, accurate, and accessible

• Experience in writing for security policies and customer questionnaires.
• Experience and skill at responding to customers’ requests for technical information
• Technical policy development and technical policy writing
• 3+ years’ experience managing security policies and security terms
• Project management and administrative support skills
• Prior experience working for a technically focused company preferred
• Familiarity with 1 or more of the following: NIST, SOC 2, DORA, ISO 27001
• Knowledge of SaaS, cloud architecture and security.
