Job Brief
—Responsible for driving data‑led insights that enhance financial decision‑making, improve forecasting accuracy, and support business performance across all areas of the finance, commercial, supply chain & procurement functions.
- Ensure that teams and senior leadership have timely, reliable, and actionable data to support strategic, operational, and commercial outcomes.
- Develop and maintain finance‑related data models, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity of reporting.
- Assist with development of governance standards for financial and operational data to support compliance and audit readiness.
- Design and deliver dashboards, visualisations, and performance metrics to provide transparency over key business drivers.
- Partner with Commercial and Operations teams to provide analytical support.
- Support advanced analytics to improve forecasting, scenario modelling, and strategic planning.
- Lead automation and process improvement initiatives through well‑governed project management processes, stakeholder engagement, and cross‑functional project leadership—including collaboration with the HSEOE and local finance teams to automate capital spend tracking and forecasting.
- Identify opportunities for process simplification, automation, and standardisation across the finance function.

Hana data design workshops and provide input to establish a strong foundation for future automated reporting. - Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights for business leaders.
- Provide benchmarking, profitability, and value‑driver analysis to support corporate strategy and long‑term planning.
- Drive adoption of automated reporting through management of change processes, supporting team capability uplift, and relevant training to end‑users.
- Degree in Data Science / IT / Finance or relevant years of experience.
- 3+ years experience in data analytics, BI development, or financial analytics.
- Proficient in Power BI and data visualization tools.
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP).
- Stakeholder engagement and communication – ability to translate complex analytics into actionable business insights for non‑technical audiences.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
