Technical Support Specialist

Join our team as a Technical Support Specialist at FLSmidth.

Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, providing expert guidance on equipment operation, troubleshooting, and parts identification. You’ll collaborate across teams and directly with customers to deliver solutions that ensure reliable performance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

• Provide expert guidance on equipment assembly, operation, and troubleshooting
• Identify and recommend correct or alternate part numbers for repairs/replacements
• Conduct on-site support visits and deliver technical training to customers
• Collaborate with Sales, Order Desk, Engineering, and Quality teams
• Escalate systemic issues and share customer insights with Product Development
• Document recurring issues and support continuous improvement initiatives

• 10+ years of mining crusher mechanical experience. A college diploma or degree in a technical field is an asset but not required.
• Strong technical knowledge to diagnose Metso‑HP, MP, Symons, Omnicone, GP, Allis‑Chalmers Sandvik‑H/CH, S/CS Cone and Gyratory Crushers.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and manuals
• Clear communication skills for customer and cross‑team collaboration
• Problem‑solving mindset with focus on root cause analysis
• Experience providing on‑site technical support and training
• Commitment to customer satisfaction and long‑term reliability
