- Strategic Design & Problem Solving
:
Identify and define problems, not just solve them. Spot gaps or improvement areas in product definitions and incorporate user‑centered design principles to enhance relevance. Stay updated with industry trends and integrate cutting‑edge insights to drive innovation. Explain project goals clearly to stakeholders. - Visual & Interaction Excellence
:
Create visually compelling, intuitive interfaces using Gestalt principles and industry best practices. Produce crisp, precise work with minimal pixel artifacts. Develop interactive prototypes that bring concepts to life. - Design Systems & Consistency
:
Manage and evolve the EDB design system, ensuring consistency across all product interfaces. Develop detailed design system components and documentation. - Research & Validation
:
Conduct rigorous usability testing, analyze user insights, refine designs based on feedback. - Leadership & Collaboration
:
Regularly participate in design team meetings and critiques, provide actionable feedback. Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Product Designer with a strong portfolio of complex applications.
- Expertise in Figma or similar tools, producing high‑fidelity, "pixel-perfect" work.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate the design process and create rapid prototypes.
- Experience contributing to, managing, and evolving design systems.
- Ability to plan and execute usability testing sessions and translate findings into design improvements.
- Strong ability to articulate the "why" behind design decisions to non‑designers.
- History of fostering inclusive team environments and enthusiasm for new challenges.
