SEO Specialist

You will be an important part of a well-reputed SEO and PPC brand in SLC. You’ll work with a range of local and national clients, and drive Search Engine Optimization strategy, tactics, and overall success for our clients, and gain valuable deep SEO knowledge working with our 15 year SEO veteran. You will be part of day-to-day execution and maintenance of SEO strategies, including keyword research, analysis, portfolio management, and opportunity analysis.

You will work closely with the strategy team and web dev teams, as well as our client services team to communicate technical and campaign details to our clients and implement the initiatives underlying the SEO strategy. The Specialist will be responsible for the ongoing reporting of performance and evolution of the SEO strategy to achieve KPI’s determined by the client and/or the team.

In addition, they will have insight into all aspects of Digital Marketing, including Search Engine Marketing & Optimization, Social Media Marketing, Email Marketing, Paid Media, Analytics, etc.

Working as a part of our Search & Strategy team, your responsibilities are (but not limited to) sending out monthly reports, facilitating client website tasks with our Design & Dev teams, calling your clients monthly, and assisting the team with any other tasks needed.

• Tracking, reporting, and analyzing website analytics
• Keyword analysis, research and integration
• On-Page optimization
• Sugesting improvements to site architecture, UX
• Research and analyze competitor sites
• Working with the link building team on strategy and opportunities
• Working with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are followed
• Working with content team to improve SEO rankings, site/page metrics
• Sending monthly SEO reports
• Monthly Client Calls
• Facilitating client website tasks with Dev & Design teams
• Staying abreast of the latest search engine changes and industry trends

Qualifications

• MUST BE LOCAL
• Solid understanding of SEO techniques
• Attention to detail
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Self-Motivated
• Proficiency with Google Analytics & Search Console
• Working knowledge of popular CMS’ ( Word Press, Drupal, Joomla, etc.)
• Proficient with ahrefs, Moz or Majestic

Pluses

• Google Analytics Certification
• Proficiency with CSS
• Java script, PHP
• Web development experience
• UX/UI experience
