** Provides technical support and administration for the Airport’s enterprise video surveillance systems, including cameras, servers, workstations, switches, and related network infrastructure. Troubleshoots complex video, hardware, software, and network issues while supporting system installations, upgrades, security, and end users.

Experience with enterprise CCTV/video management systems, IP networks, VLANs, PoE, Windows environments, and field-based technical work is highly desirable.
Various work schedules may be required to accommodate the hours that the Help Desk and onsite technical support staff are available for City customers. Occasional weekend work and on-call work may be required.

** About the Position:
** This position provides technical support and system administration for complex, networked video surveillance systems at the Airport. Installs, configures, maintains, troubleshoots, and optimizes cameras, recording and storage servers, workstations, switches, and related network infrastructure while partnering with technical teams, vendors, and end users.

The ideal candidate has experience with large enterprise CCTV/video surveillance systems and networked video management systems, along with knowledge of IP networks, VLANs, PoE, routing, Windows environments, and remote diagnostic tools. OEM video management certification, experience with structured cabling and low-voltage testing equipment, and strong communication, documentation, customer service, and problem-solving skills are highly desirable.

*** Position Hourly Range:
** Level III: $30.74 - $41.97/hr Level II: $27.89 - $38.04/hr Level I: $25.31 - $34.53/hr

** Desired Qualifications
*** Experience administering and maintaining large enterprise CCTV/Video surveillance systems including Cameras, Recording/Storage Servers, Video Workstations, Media Converters, Switches, and Microphones with varying end user requirements.
* Experience Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues pertaining to camera, workstation, and server infrastructure.
* Must be able to utilize and understand testing equipment for structured cabling, video, network, and low voltage systems
* Experience in designing, installing, and administering complete networked video management systems.
* Basic understanding of IP networks, Switches, VLANs, PoE and Routing in a multicast video environment.
* Knowledge of Windows operating systems with experience imaging, updating, patching, and troubleshooting workstations/servers in an enterprise environment.
* Experience with remote access, diagnostic, and monitoring tools.
* OEM certified on video management systems/platforms.
* Understanding of Camera and video parameters:
Frame rates, image resolution, compression, video format, etc.
* Experienced with system management, documentation, and certification best practices.
* Strong written and verbal communication with ability to express technical knowledge to all levels of understanding.
