Holland & Hart is seeking a junior-mid-level Employee Benefits Associate to join the firm in its Denver, Boise, or Salt Lake City office.

Position Requirements

Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience with a predominant focus on employee benefits law (tax and ERISA) including experience with retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and executive compensation. An ideal candidate will have an energetic and collaborative personality, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a complex team environment. A strong academic background and excellent legal research and writing skills are required.

Holland & Hart’s compensation is merit-based—you’ll be evaluated on your individual performance and achievements and on your contributions to the team’s efforts. As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Act, Holland & Hart is providing a good faith salary range for this position (if based in Colorado): $200,000 - $217,000. Our generous bonus program rewards financial contributions and hard work and associates are also eligible for fee splits.

Holland & Hart expects associates to invest 1800 hours on billable matters, 75 hours of pro bono/public service work (or 50 hours of pro bono legal work), in addition to at least 25 hours dedicated to Community, Diversity & Inclusion Investment hours. Contributions to the life of the firm is vital to the collective success of the firm, and we encourage our lawyers to engage in ways each person finds meaningful through various committees and firm activities.
