- Manage assigned projects in accordance with schedules that support favorable performance indexing and meet or exceed the expectations of the project plan.
- Effectively manage subcontractor and vendor performance to ensure compliant project delivery.
- Manage installation strategies to ensure the most effective industry best practices and methods are leveraged to complete projects on schedule and within budget.
- Travel:
This position generally requires overnight travel; the individual must be willing to travel as needed by E2 Optics.
- BS in Project Management or Construction Management (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
- 7–10 years’ experience managing structured cabling and integrated systems projects.
- Experience managing multiple contractual types and vehicles (lump sum, cost‑plus/GMP, unit price, design‑build/design‑assist, time‑and‑materials).
- Preferred certifications: BICSI RCDD, BICSI RTPM, or PMP.
- Other BICSI certifications (Installer, Technician, etc.) are a plus.
- Ability to identify change events and implement change‑management best practices.
- Knowledge of various construction technology platforms, quality, and safety standards.

The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. The noise level is usually moderate. Duties include sitting, talking, hearing, using hands, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and walking. You will regularly stand and walk, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and climb ladders to 20 feet. Operation of equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs may be required.
