Preconstruction Manager - Commercial Construction

The Preconstruction Manager is responsible for providing leadership and management to safely, profitable, and timely assigned projects. The pre-construction manager manages the bids in a manner consistent with standards of quality and integrity and will participate in the marketing, estimating, bidding, and contract negotiation phases of the assigned projects.

Preconstruction Manager Responsibilities:

* Will be responsible for working on several potential projects valued between $10-250m.

* Provides leadership, guidance, and expertise by defining, implementing, and monitoring department estimating resources, guidelines, best practices, and procedures.

* Coordinates with a team and senior management to grow the business in line with the firm's strategic direction.

* Responsible for the completeness and accuracy of submissions.

* Establishes team assignments and identifies estimating review dates.

* Oversees and supports several projects from an operational, financial, and resource standpoint.

Preconstruction Manager Requirements:

* Degree educated in the appropriate discipline is highly preferred.

* Experienced in negotiating bids on new build projects.

* Strong portfolio of previous work in the relevant sectors.

* Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

* Knowledge of different construction methods, planning, scheduling, and sequencing.
