Signature Products Group () is an industry leader in licensed product design, development, manufacture, and distribution for some of the world’s most iconic brands. The Product Developer II is responsible for executing commercial products that meet consumer, brand, and business needs, translating advanced materials, construction, and manufacturing concepts into physical, market‑ready products.
Responsibilities- Lead the execution of product commercialization to deliver on consumer expectations, cost targets, and timelines.
- Collaborate with product and design teams on developing products, components, and trims that meet stakeholder quality and appearance standards.
- Own the creation and maintenance of BOMs, technical specs, color specs, fit specs, and all materials/assets required to produce the physical product with factory partners.
- Own itemized BOMs for individual products and deliver on cost targets with innovative solutions.
- Collaborate on technical specification requirements with global and compliance teams.
- Lead all sample iterations and track progress for the assigned category.
- Prototype, pattern, and conduct market research to validate and ideate on early proof‑of‑concept ideas.
- Maintain rigorous adherence to individual project timelines.
- Communicate conflicting priorities and timeline challenges, and collaborate on solution strategies.
- Own the creation and maintenance of the PLM database and physical storage of all development assets.
- Lead all factory communications and convey changes or revisions to products efficiently.
- Monitor vendors and suppliers to meet internal timelines and critical deadlines.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues in supplier and factory relationships.
- Manage supplier/vendor relationships to foster strategic progress in development and costing.
- Apply costing analytics and negotiation skills to maintain target cost.
- Proven experience developing physical products from concept to market.
- Strong knowledge of the product development process, vendor relationships, and manufacturing of cut‑and‑sew production.
- Experience with PLM or similar material and product management tools.
- Solid sourcing, costing, and logistics knowledge.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Background in materials, trims, and embellishment techniques.
- Computer proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, CLO, and Solid Works.
- Self‑starter and creative problem solver who thrives on open‑ended projects.
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to manage multiple timelines and deadlines.
- High degree of agility and adaptability.
- Seasonal travel overseas to manufacturers will be required.
