As a Production Assistant at Vertical Solutions, you'll help manufacture high-quality polyurethane climbing holds and molds that end up on walls everywhere - from local gyms to international projects.

As a Production Assistant, you'll support day-to-day manufacturing in our Proxy Shop by operating equipment, preparing materials, and keeping production moving smoothly. This is a full-time, non-exempt role with a starting pay range of $21–$24/hour (DOE) and opportunities to learn new skills across the shop.

• Sand, drill, and finish plastic parts using power and hand tools

• Assist with mixing, pouring, and preparing materials for climbing hold production

• Operate composite manufacturing machinery and follow established processes

• Inspect, weigh, package, and ship customer orders

• Support shipping and receiving tasks

• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and assist with equipment upkeep

• Follow all SOPs, quality-control programs, and safety requirements

• Apply lean concepts to improve efficiency in daily tasks

• Jump in where needed to support general shop operations

You might be a great fit if you:

• Have experience in manufacturing, construction, or a hands-on shop environment

• Are comfortable operating machinery and troubleshooting basic issues

• Can stay focused and consistent while performing repetitive tasks

• Take initiative and manage your time well

• Show up reliably and work well as part of a team

• Can lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet for most of the workday

• Are able to wear required safety equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, vest, etc.)

• Have a valid driver's license

• Care about organization, efficiency, and doing quality work

This role is active and physical. You'll be standing most of the day and performing repetitive hand and arm motions while working around machinery and materials. The shop environment includes exposure to manufacturing noise, dust, fumes, and chemicals - all managed through strict safety procedures.
