Production Manager

Job SummaryThe Production Supervisor is a member of the Operations Team, overseeing and coordinating production activities to maximize associate and equipment resources, meeting or exceeding production and quality standards, while maintaining the highest safety standards. Assists the Production Manager in monitoring and reporting Key Performance Indicators.
Responsibilities- Apply intellect, judgment, and management skills to achieve production performance results across all KPIs.
- Supervise and direct work of direct reports across assigned shift and identify projects to reduce waste and increase efficiencies.
- Ensure shift compliance with safety and environmental policies, including basic housekeeping and 5S.
- Utilize time‑keeping system to monitor and approve associates’ work hours.
- Assist in safety and process improvement projects.
- Enforce company policies regarding safety, GMP, and production.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with maintenance and quality to ensure optimal production and that bottles meet specifications.
- Ensure associates have proper training and tools.
- Evaluate, recognize, and discipline associates assigned to shift (under guidance of Production Manager).
- Other duties as assigned.
- Monitor and verify activities to ensure all products meet food safety and quality standards.
- Comply with all food safety and QA procedures and document data correctly at all times.
- Restore all contact surfaces to sanitary condition after any job completion.
- Report any product or process failures that could impact food safety to Quality.
- Bachelor's degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 1‑year experience in plastics blow molding operations (injection of preforms, 2‑Stage, EBM, ISBM).
- Ability to read/write Spanish is a plus.
- 20–45 direct reports.

The employee must frequently lift and carry up to 10 pounds, stand and walk on concrete, reach, bend, twist, push, pull, and move materials. Vision: close vision required. Regular tasks include sit, use hands, talk, and hear.
