CNC Machinists

Job Summary

Flynn Group of Companies is seeking a CNC Machinist in Salt Lake City, UT. The position offers a base pay range of $22.00/hr - $30.00/hr your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

• Operate or program CNC machinery to create bends on sheet metal, ACM panels, aluminum extrusions, glazing/glass framing materials.
• Work with machinery such as Trumatic 5000- TRUMPF, CNC shearing machines, CNC punching machines, hydraulic press brakes, Aluranger, CNC routers, Rhino Fab machines, saws, grinders, and power tools.
• Follow safety requirements and maintain certifications. Inspect machinery and products for quality assurance. Perform maintenance and troubleshoot as needed.
• Prepare material shipments/orders. Assist in other departments and cross-train as needed.

• Has previously worked in a fabrication/shop setting.
• Experience operating or programming similar CNC machinery/equipment.
• Experience with hand and power tools (drills, saws, grinders, etc.).
• Ability to accurately interpret shop drawings/blueprints.
• Ability to stand 8-10 hours per day and move heavy material.
• Experience with any of the listed machinery is highly preferred:
  Trumatic 5000- TRUMPF, CNC shearing machines, CNC punching machines, hydraulic press brakes, Aluranger, CNC routers, Rhino Fab machines.
