Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for a Precision Electromechanical Assembler 3 located in Salt Lake City, UT.

What you'll get to do:

• Perform a variety of operations to assemble precision electromechanical products such as gyros and gear train mechanisms.

• Perform tasks such as drilling, reaming, burnishing, and tapping; use precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specified tolerance. Assemble, disassemble, repair and reassemble precision assemblies and correct malfunctions.

• May assemble and modify prototype precision units for engineering personnel.

• May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of related experience.

• Experience following standard operation procedures and/or assembly procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.

• Previous experience working with electronics/fiber.

• Previous experience working closely with Test and Manufacturing techs/engineers.

• Experience in using digital multi-meters and other lab test equipment.

• Experience soldering and/or soldering certification.

Salary Range: $47,000 - $78,300

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
