Teal Drones, a wholly‑owned subsidiary of Red Cat Holdings, seeks a Junior Project Manager to support Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) projects. This role offers early‑career professionals the chance to coordinate project activities across multidisciplinary teams, working under senior leadership and gaining hands‑on experience throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities Project Support- Assist in coordinating UAV project activities to ensure objectives, timelines, and deliverables stay on track.
- Support cross‑functional teams by organizing meetings, tracking action items, and maintaining project documentation.
- Contribute to developing project schedules, resource plans, and risk logs.
- Help identify potential issues and escalated them to senior project staff.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
- Help maintain task boards and support teams in following established Agile processes.
- Assist in communicating project updates to internal teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Help prepare presentations, status reports, and meeting summaries.
- Work with engineering teams to understand basic UAV system requirements and ensure project tasks align with technical needs.
- Support testing, integration activities, and data collection as directed.
- Support compliance activities by helping gather documentation and staying informed of relevant guidelines under senior supervision.
- Assist with monitoring project expenses, updating budget trackers, and reporting variances to project leadership.
- Help maintain risk and quality checklists.
- Assist in document reviews and ensure project deliverables meet required standards.
- Provide general support to project team members and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Seek opportunities for learning and professional growth.
- Prepare and update project status reports, dashboards, and logs.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, organized, and accessible to the team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 0–3 years of project coordination or project management experience; experience in UAV, aerospace, defense, or hardware/software development is a plus.
- Basic understanding or strong interest in UAV systems, engineering workflows, or technical product development.
- Familiarity with Agile development concepts (Scrum or Kanban) is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks with guidance.
- Proficiency with common productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, project tracking software, collaboration platforms).
- Willingness to travel occasionally for project needs.
- Ability to sit, stand, and move around office or project environments.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for handling equipment or materials.
- Adequate visual acuity for reading documents, drawings, and computer screens.
- Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and travel to project sites as required.
