Receiving Associate

Industrial Supply Company is a Utah-based company that has been in Salt Lake City for more than 100 years and cares about their employees like they were family. We provide a free company gym for all employees and flexible scheduling, with no weekends.

Ensure the accurate and timely processing and receipt of delivered items into our system, following established procedures.

• Receive products into the inventory system, ensuring accuracy of items, and inspecting the count and condition of items according to established procedures and policies.
• Perform other duties and assist with projects as assigned by the area supervisor.

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment
• Experience with inventory management
• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent attendance record
• Ability to work efficiently and productively with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both internal and external customers

• This position regularly requires the ability to stand for the majority of an 8-hour shift. Daily tasks may involve routine bending, crouching, lifting, and carrying products up to 50 lbs.
• The ability to visually identify products by name in English and accurately count quantities using basic math skills.
• Regular use of general warehouse tools and equipment, including ladders, pallet jacks, inventory scanners, tape guns, brooms, etc.
