JOB DESCRIPTION
An Equipment Operator II is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of moderately complex automated assembly machines. This individual will ensure the continued operation of assembly machines through interpretation of and appropriate response to machine faults and through occasional alignment of stations and fixtures. This individual will perform moderately complex, repetitive tasks associated with machine operation and is expected to endure a moderate level of equipment attentiveness.
The operator is also responsible for ensuring that medical devices are assembled with the highest quality possible.

- Adjust parameters (within allowable limits) to ensure good quality and optimal machine efficiency
- Able to interpret machine faults and determine root cause. Able to permanently rectify the issue (within the validated condition of the equipment) such that fault no longer occurs
- Capable of performing minor machine adjustments, changeovers, and setups without maintenance intervention (e.g., track alignments, simple feeder bowl change)
- Able to demonstrate flexibility in operating multiple machines of moderate complexity. Moderately Complex machines:
- Involve press and torque fitments
- Are typically less than 10 stations
- Have moderate levels of operator attention
- Have some station and fixture alignments.

Skills & Qualifications
- Basic Microsoft (Outlook, Excel, Word) and computer experience preferred
- Knowledge of inventory management systems
- Knowledge of machine maintenance or repair
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years’ experience preferred
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time
Physical Requirements And Work Environment
- Use solvents, glue, or solder
- Must be able to perform visual inspections with and without the aid of magnification tools
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
- This job operates in a clean room environment.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit or stand for the duration of the shift
- Must be able to repetitively move and lift objects of up to 20 lbs
