Supply Chain Manager – Contract Manufacturing

American Fork, UT - Compensation: $90,000–$110,000 base + annual bonus
A rapidly growing food manufacturer in American Fork, UT is expanding operations due to strong sales growth and is hiring a Supply Chain Manager to lead projects for the contract packaging organizations and interface directly with client’s, ensuring seamless execution from planning through delivery. This is a cross‑functional, client‑facing role ideal for someone who understands the fast pace of food manufacturing and thrives in a team‑oriented environment.
You’ll take the lead on contract manufacturing programs from start to finish, working across supply chain, operations, quality, and customer service. With the company expanding into a third facility, now is the time to join and make a lasting impact.
- Act as the main point of contact for contract manufacturing clients, managing all supply chain touchpoints from initial onboarding through delivery
- Lead daily operations and supply chain execution for multiple packaging and co‑manufacturing projects.
- Partner with internal teams across operations, procurement, logistics, and production to meet timeline and quality targets.
- Build production plans and timelines for high‑volume SKUs across multiple facilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve delays related to materials, capacity, or fulfillment.
- Maintain and update systems in SAP to reflect project status, materials availability, and production schedules
- Align with KPIs related to OTIF, cost control, and client satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver performance reports both internally and to clients.
- Drive improvements across the contract manufacturing supply chain—streamlining processes and supporting expansion initiatives.
- BA/BS degree required in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or operations within a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in contract manufacturing or co‑manufacturing preferred.
- Experience using ERP systems — SAP preferred; open to Net Suite, Oracle, etc.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects involving internal teams and external clients.
- Hands‑on, team‑first mindset with willingness to step in and support other departments when needed.
