General Laborer​/Manufacturing Worker

Schedule:

Night Shift 2nd Shift 3:00 PM 1:30 AM

Pay: $21.50/hour

Manufacturing worker who will work indoors in an industrial manufacturing environment where the manufacturing will bend, cut, bundle, and load reinforcing steel bars according to customer orders in an indoor industrial environment. The role is ideal for individuals with prior construction or general labor experience who are comfortable using hand and power tools, working as part of a team, and handling physically demanding tasks on a consistent night shift schedule.

• Bend, cut, bundle, and load reinforcing steel bars in accordance with customer orders and production specifications.
• Operate a shearing machine to cut reinforcing steel bars to precise lengths.
• Operate a bending machine to form reinforcing steel bars into specified shapes.
• Use an overhead crane to safely move, assemble, and select materials to be fabricated or shipped.
• Assemble and load completed orders onto trailers for shipping in an accurate and organized manner.
• Operate a power saws to cut reinforcing steel bars to required lengths.
• Follow instructions, blueprints, and job tickets to ensure correct dimensions and configurations of materials.

• Previous experience in construction or as a general laborer in an industrial environment.
• Ability to work confidently with a variety of hand tools and power tools.
• Capability to lift up to 75 pounds on a semi-consistent basis throughout the shift.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and coordinate tasks with others.
• Reliability in maintaining consistent attendance on a night shift schedule (approximately 3:00 PM 1:30 AM).
• Candidates must be able to communicate in English.

Candidates must be willing to submit to a drug and background check.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salt Lake City, UT.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
