Pretium Packaging is looking for a hands-on operator who turns machines, materials, and specs into reliable, high-quality packaging—safely and consistently.

What You’ll DoOperate, monitor, and adjust blow molding and supporting equipment to meet output and quality targets

Complete start-ups, set-ups, and basic troubleshooting during changeovers

Review machine performance with the prior shift; keep equipment running efficiently

Perform routine adjustments and preventive maintenance; promptly report mechanical concerns

Quality You Can Measure Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet specifications

Document adjustments, process updates, and quality issues with accuracy

Identify defects, correct root causes, and follow all quality procedures and work instructions

Materials, Cleanliness, and Safety Track raw material levels to avoid interruptions

Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from debris

Follow safety policies, wear required PPE, report hazards immediately, and participate in safety training

Food Safety Commitment Verify activities align with food safety, GMP, and quality requirements

Ensure product-contact surfaces are restored to sanitary condition after work is performed

Accurately complete all food safety and quality documentation

Immediately report any food safety, quality, or process concerns to supervision

Responsible for food safety, food quality, and site  the Teammate Everyone Wants Follow plant job specifications and task requirements

Support overtime, scheduled shutdowns, and special projects

Engage in required meetings and training

Tackle additional duties as assigned

What It Takes Required (Preferred)
High School Diploma or GED1–2 years in manufacturing, machine operation, or production

Mechanical aptitude and proven troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently and within a team Basic computer literacy

Ability to follow written procedures and production specifications

Preferred Experience Plastics manufacturing or packaging industry background

Machine set-ups and changeovers

Fast-paced production environment experience

Physical Realities & Schedule Lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently

Stand and walk on concrete floors for long periods

Bend, stoop, twist, reach, push, and pull throughout your shift

Use hands to handle tools, equipment, and materials

Work a 12-hour shift schedule

Close vision required for precise inspections

Where You’ll Work Manufacturing floor with production machinery and moving equipment

Moderate to high noise—hearing protection required

Temperature variations typical of industrial facilities

Exposure to plastics manufacturing processes
