Registered Nurse – IVIRMA North America

IVIRMA North America, a network of state‑of‑the‑art fertility practices in the United States, is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join the RMA of Utah in Salt Lake City.

The Nurse will function as a dynamic member of the patient care team, providing education and guidance to fertility patients throughout their journey. The Registered Nurse will serve as treatment coordinator and strive to provide every individual an optimal patient experience.

• Assist with coordination of care, management, and treatment of fertility patients.
• Implement provider directives through management of diagnostic and clinical treatment plans.
• Provide care for assigned patients by applying appropriate RMA workflows, policies, and clinical practice guidelines.
• Review medical records and lab results; ensure accurate data is entered into the EMR.
• Communicate test results and patient instructions.
• Provide patient education throughout all aspects of the treatment journey; set appropriate expectations, educate patient/couple on testing, treatment options and RMA processes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care services in the EMR.
• Demonstrate skills and judgment necessary to implement the plan of care; perform nursing interventions and procedures as necessary to promote the care and safety of the patient.
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients; comfort patients by anticipating their anxieties, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
• Participate in the education and training of nurses, mentor peers, and promote a collaborative and productive environment both intra‑departmentally and inter‑departmentally.
• Assist provider with in‑office procedures as needed.

• Active RN license without limitations – required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – highly preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or IV certification – preferred.

• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings – required.
• 2+ years practical experience working as a nurse – highly preferred.
• Prior experience in women’s healthcare – preferred.
• Candidates currently employed at Utah Center for Reproductive Medicine will receive preferential hire.

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
