Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN PRN

Meadow Brook Health and Rehab in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)! At Meadow Brook Health and Rehab, we are a close-knit group where providing our residents the best care possible is our #1 priority. We currently hiring PRN Licensed Practical Nurses at Meadow Brook - in the interview, we will discuss your availability as well as the needs of our facility. At least 2 shifts/month are required to stay active on our PRN roster. We look forward to meeting with you!

Pay Range
: $26-36 an hour, depending on experience

• PRN nurses work on a "as-needed/available" schedule

• Current Utah-Issued LPN license in good standing
• Effective communication
• Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regards to long-term care

• Ordering medications, equipment, and supplies as prescribed.
• Preparing and administering treatments/medications as ordered by the physician
• Notify the resident's physician and/or family members when there is a change in the resident's condition
• Administering professional nursing practice services such as: tube feedings, suction, catheterization, changing of dressings, packs, and irrigations as necessary
• Continuous observation and monitoring of seriously ill residents
• Being the patient advocate and ensuring that other healthcare team members are providing care according to the resident's care plan and personal wishes
• Accurately completing necessary charting as required and in a timely manner
