Salt Lake Behavioral Health is currently seeking a compassionate and talented Registered Nurse (RN) – PRN for nights (6pm-6am) and days (6am-6pm). The city’s private 118‑bed freestanding psychiatric hospital specializes in mental health and substance abuse treatment for adolescents and adults. We serve the Salt Lake City and surrounding area using evidence‑based treatments in a comfortable, confidential atmosphere.
PRN Expectations- Work at least 4 (12 hour) shifts or 48 hours a month
- Available to work 2 weekend or evening shifts of at least 12 hours per shift
- Work all units as needed
- Work 1 major, 1 minor holiday, and 1 hard‑to‑staff day

- Education:
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required;
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. - Experience:
No minimum required. - Licensure:
Currently licensed to practice by the Utah State Board of Nursing. - Additional Requirements:
Thorough knowledge of Joint Commission, HCFA, OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory requirements; CPR certification and successful completion of training in Management of Aggressive Behavior (Mandt) within 90 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.
