Local Contract Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Health Trust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Salt Lake City, Utah.

• Number of Beds - 24
• Number of Staff – 46
• Patient Ratios : 1:2 (1:3 for PCU boarders, 1:1 for sitters or higher acuity- IABP, CRRT, open hearts)
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 1 CCT/US during day shift if > 10 patients
• Documentation system: EPIC
• Scheduling requirements:
  Straight nights or 50/50
• Floating policy: PCU or as a sitter anywhere in hospital inpatient
• Typical Procedures:
  • Rapid Sequence Intubations
  • Central line placements
  • Experience with ventilators, vasopressors, restraint use, arterial lines, and other ICU skills.
  • Central line placement, bronchoscopy, intubation, arterial line placement, chest tube placement

Must Haves:
- An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred
- A recent 12 months of ICU RN experience in an acute inpatient hospital setting
- UT RN License
- ACLS, BLS, and NIH Certifications
Preferred or Nice to Have:
- 2 years ICU Experience
- EPIC Experience
- Travel Experience
