Essential Job Functions- Assist in the generation of formal test protocols and reports.
- Assist in the execution of test protocols and procedures, set up and operate test equipment, and record measurements with limited supervision.
- Maintain accurate data and organize and present data in a reportable format.
- Provide process/test method training to manufacturing/QC personnel.
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of company policies, procedures, ISO and FDA requirements.
- Work in a biohazard environment and comply with safety policies and procedures outlined by company policies.
- Assist in system assurance including documentation, testing, inspection, product and process development, and non-conforming product investigations.
- Support Manufacturing, New Product Development, and Regulatory to ensure systems are compliant with all internal and external guidelines.
- Work on product failure and root cause investigations.
- Proficiency in personal computer software, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to integrate written and verbal instructions; work under supervision.
- Basic organizational and math/statistics skills.
- Basic knowledge of standard laboratory practices.
- Detail oriented; ability to collect, record, and report data accurately.
- Technical writing proficiency.
- General competence with testing and manufacturing equipment.
- Task oriented.
- Associate's Degree in science, math, or engineering OR
- Minimum of four (4) years related experience.
- The incumbent must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the duties and responsibilities.
This position is in an office and laboratory environment and requires the incumbent to sit, stand, and perform general office functions. The incumbent may also be required to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds occasionally and stand for extended periods. Bending, stooping, and reaching are also frequently required.
