Position Overview

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a critical role in fueling our growth by generating and qualifying new business opportunities. This entry‑level position is perfect for someone who is hungry to break into sales, excited to build relationships, and ready to contribute to a high‑energy, fast‑paced team environment. You will be the first point of contact for many prospective clients, helping identify needs, introduce our services, and set up qualified meetings for our account managers and leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct outbound outreach (calls, emails, Linked In) to identify potential commercial clients.
  • Qualify leads and schedule introductory calls and meetings for the sales and estimating teams.
  • Learn and understand DVP’s service offerings—including national accounts, maintenance packages, asphalt, and concrete solutions.
  • Maintain accurate data and follow‑up tracking within CRM systems.
  • Support marketing and sales campaigns by assisting with targeted outreach initiatives.
  • Build relationships with prospects while representing DVP’s values of professionalism, integrity, and excellence.
  • Collaborate with teammates to continuously refine messaging, workflow, and prospecting strategies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication skills—comfortable on the phone and in writing.
  • Coachable, ambitious, and eager to learn.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and meet activity goals.
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Prior sales, customer service, or internship experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
