We are looking to strengthen our industrial capacity at the La Balme‑les‑Grottes site. You will start in Salt Lake City for twelve months as a VIE starting mid‑2026, then relocate to La Balme‑les‑Grottes.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement analytical chemistry methods.
- Conduct tests related to product or process non‑conformities.
- Lead related testing in compliance with quality, safety, and timelines.
- Take part in all team activities: understand methods, test protocols, tools, and validation; understand maintenance and operation of analytical equipment (LC/MS, ICP, IC, Karl Fischer, HPLC).
- Document best practices and draft procedures.
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) or PhD in Analytical Chemistry or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in analytical chemistry, including liquid chromatography (HPLC/UPLC), mass spectrometry (LC/MS), ion chromatography, ICP, and Karl Fischer titration.
- Knowledge of applying these techniques to molecular biology is a plus.
- Ability to analyze results, identify anomalies, and propose solutions.
- Proven ability to plan, organize, and lead research projects, analyze qualitative and quantitative data, and produce scientific documentation.
- Strong technical writing and regulated environment experience are an advantage.
- Proficiency with IT tools (Excel, laboratory software, databases).
- Curious, rigorous, autonomous, with strong organizational skills and team spirit.
- Ability to adapt, multitask, and manage urgent situations and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and instructional ability.
- Languages:
Fluent in English (minimum B2) and French.
