Salary – $29.01 - $43.60 Hourly Wage

- Process specimens for laboratory analysis
- Perform molecular and bacteriological based assays
- Workwith dangerous pathogens within the biosafety level 3 laboratory
- Assist with test validations
- Perform quality control and participate in corrective actions
- Perform instrument maintenance
- Communicate with Epidemiologists, law enforcement, hospitals, and other local partners
- Provide outreach presentations to partners
Perform testing in the Tuberculosis, Serology and Virology laboratories
- MUSTmeetCLIA high complexity testing personnel qualifications (clickHEREto review the standard qualifications)
- Previous experience working in a clinical or research lab
- Previous experience with Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR)
- Good communication skills
- Pass acriminal background check
- MeetsCLIA high complexity testing personnel qualifications (clickHEREto review the standard qualifications)
- Previous experience in performing bacteriological assays
- Previous experience in performing Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR)
- Basic knowledge of Molecular Biology
- Basic knowledge of Medical Microbiology
- Comfortable providing scientific outreach/presentations to partners
