* Job Summary:

** The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for monitoring, processing and verifying inbound and outbound shipments in the facility by physically sorting customer shipments, verifying inventory detail by comparing actual inventory to paperwork and otherwise ensuring precise control and record-keeping.  This position functions in an armed environment and requires the enforcement of rules to protect the premises and property of Brink's and its customers, as well as the safety of all on the premises of Brink's.

* Key Responsibilities:

** Perform other duties as assigned or necessary

* Minimum Qualifications:

** Minimum of 2 years of shipping and receiving experience and/or related industry experience processing shipments/working a fast paced logistics environment.

Demonstrated PC proficiency with Microsoft Office  A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing requirements

A valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licenses Ability to lift 50 pounds  Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as may be required to meet business demands.

* Preferred Qualifications:

** Experience in the freight or security transportation business

Experience providing efficient and accurate customer services for import/export customers.

High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
** Professional

** Good verbal and written communication skills. Detail oriented.
